Charles Crenshaw is a retired history teacher, coach and athletic director. He is active in First United Methodist Church and Mocksville Lions Club. Charles received an A.B. in History from UNC-Chapel Hill and Master of Education from UNC-Greensboro. He has co-authored two books on Davie County History: LOOKING BACK I and II. He is married to wife Patsy with two children and five grandchildren.

Grady L. McClamrock, Jr. was raised and educated in Davie County. He has practiced law in Davie County since 1977. Grady has served on numerous Boards in business, community, church, and charity. He resides on a farm in rural Davie County with his wife Cathy who together have five children and eight grandchildren.

Christine Bralley is a lifelong resident of Davie County, a Davie High School and Catawba College graduate. She has 38 years of local government experience and enjoys community volunteer projects. Christine and her husband together have two children and three grandchildren.

Jane Simpson moved to Davie County in 1986. She spent many years volunteering for schools, baseball, and other community projects, raising money along the way. Jane served as the first Executive Director of the Davie County Arts Council. In 2003, she left the Arts Council to serve as the first President & CEO of the Davie Community Foundation where she spent 23 years. Jane and her husband David have three sons and three amazing grandchildren.

Terry Bralley, former Mocksville Town Manager, Davie County Manager and current Davie County Economic Developer has lived and been a part of this community since 1979. Terry has served on numerous boards and committees in the county throughout his career.

Alice Brown is a retired public-school teacher with a lifelong commitment to service and justice including being a founding member of nonprofits to improve the lives of area women and children; and to preserve history and advocate for community beautification and safety. Alice is married to a retired minister and leader in the United Methodist Church and the parent of two adult children.

Ben is a Davie County native that grew up in the Smith Grove Community and attended Davie County Schools. He can trace his Davie County roots back to the 1800s. Ben has an interest and love of history. He is a 2025 graduate of William Peace University with a major in History and a minor in Business Administration. He is employed by Skyline National Bank in Mocksville.

Neal C. Foster is a lifelong resident of Davie County. He has served as a board member on professional, educational, and nonprofit organizations in Davie and Forsyth Counties. Neal retired from a career in commercial real estate. He resides in the Farmington community with his wife Kimberly and has two sons.

Janie Zimmerman Hendrix grew up in Advance. She graduated from Davie High School in 1966 and Western Carolina in 1970. She married and moved to Lockhart, SC in 1971, returning to Davie County in 1987. Janie spent 25 years working with Cooleemee Elementary. She currently serves as the Office Manager for Cornatzer Auto Body Shop. Janie has four children, fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She and sister Brenda Zimmerman founded the Zimmerman/Shutt Fund for the Davie County Museum under the Davie Community Foundation in 2025.

Bill Johnson is a retired Davie County businessman. He gained an appreciation for North Carolina history in the classrooms of A. M. Kiser at Farmington Elementary School, and Dr. Hugh Lefler at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife, June, live on a beef cattle farm in southern Davie County.
